Hurricane Charley Roof Construction Project

July 13, 2005 Update

West Coast Roofing & Waterproofing:
1. Working on dry-in at Penthouse 1231 bayside.
2. Anco Roofing was out yesterday and today to roll roof panels (see photos).
3. Rich Lamb will be the supervisor from this point forward for the project.
4. His install crew will begin installation of the clips and roof panels tomorrow (Thursday the 14th).
5. West Coast will commence a daily clean-up of roof fasteners, etc. from the grounds.
6. I've asked West Coast to provide a change order to install new aluminum access doors into the existing roof access locations.

R.L.James:
1. Inspected and took quantities of the 36 riser today. Took photos to be placed in lanai inspection plate binder and delivered to association at end of project for their record.
2. Will be inspecting 35 riser on Thursday, 14th.
3. Will water test top three walkway floors for ponding only.
4. KNZ was on property late today to measure windows and have raised a number of questions regarding the two penthouses and the existing location of their sliding glass doors. 1231 will be in town next week to discuss windows, doors and shutters. 1232 does not want shutters re-installed.
5. I received a change order from RLJ to replace the penthouse open rails with bronze finish, screen enclosures with bronze finish and sliding glass doors with bronze finish and impact glass that may not meet our design criteria. I'm having KNZ and Traco provide us a high rise impact slider for the penthouses and any other unit owner who wants to replace their sliders.
